Jacquelyn Sylvan, author of the YA fantasy novel Surviving Serendipity, lives in Palmerton, Pa. A graduate of Northampton Community College, her life revolves around her husband, Martin, her pets, and her love of reading and writing.
In her spare time, Jacquelyn can usually be found tromping through the woods with her husband and dog, enjoying movies or diner food with friends, or simply having a night off with some Discovery Channel, wine and Cheez-Its. She also entertains a fantasy of creeping about at night in full ninja gear with cans of red spray paint, fixing misspelled signs.
Jacquelyn’s favorite authors and greatest inspirations include J.K. Rowling and Stephen King, whose examples she hopes to follow. Surviving Serendipity is her first novel.
